Christ, kid, go to bed.

This is why the getting up early for a road trip is a bad plan for me. The night before I can't go to bed. And I still have a couple of things to do in the morning.

I could post to facebook and ask whether there's anyone else out there who does this, but, I dunno, it feels sorta hollow. Could get a bunch of omg agreement; could get nothing. I don't know what I want to get. Just want to tell somebody, as people on facebook often seem to, that I'm up late.

sub shops aplenty, and getting called "Hon"

Nobody in Ann Arbor calls strangers "Hon."

I didn't even notice it for several minutes. That was maybe the best part. I was already on a little high, having driven past the Friendly's and the Perkins'ses, just to see what might still be open in this little Pennsylvania berg. A "ville," actually, but "berg" is more PA-y. Just as I was thinking "Maybe a sub shop," I was next to one. Down the side street, another. Looping around onto almost-deserted Main, another, the one I went for. I was the only customer in there. I was "Hon."
